Hospital Quirónsalud Tenerife

Quirónsalud Tenerife Hospital is a multidisciplinary medical and surgical centre located in the island’s capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with 181 beds. It covers an area of 11,538 square metres spread across five inpatient floors and three floors dedicated to general services. It has four multi-purpose operating theatres equipped with the latest technology, a Major Outpatient Surgery Unit with two operating theatres, an Intensive Care Unit with six beds and a Dialysis Unit with 18 stations. It also has a comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging department, a Gastrointestinal Endoscopy department, 14 outpatient clinics, two rehabilitation gyms and a 24-hour A&E department. Furthermore, it boasts the most modern Haemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology Department on the island and the only Advanced Robotic Surgery Unit in the private healthcare sector in the Canary Islands. It was founded in 1968 under the name Clínica La Colina by a group of medical professionals determined to improve the island’s private healthcare provision, and more than forty years later, Hospital Quirónsalud Tenerife maintains the spirit of its founders and is committed to providing healthcare of the highest quality and excellence.
