Currently, it has 162 beds, 8 surgical theatres, 8 emergency room bays and 8 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds. The total built area of the buildings in Vegueta is 15,573 m2. It deals with 7,500 hospital admissions per year, 32,000 hospital stays, 9,200 surgical interventions, 50,000 emergencies, 132,000 consultations and 207,000 diagnostic tests.
