I studied Psychology at the Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City and a Master in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Eleia Center, also in Mexico City. In Madrid I studied a Specialization in Children and Adolescents at the Asociación Escuela de Clínica Psicoanalítica con Niños y Adolescentes de Madrid (ACPNA).
Currently, I am an active member and lecturer at the Spanish School of Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of Madrid (E.E.P.P.). Sometimes I write for La mente es maravillosa, you can see my articles here. I have more than 15 years of experience treating adults, adolescents, children, families and couples in the treatment of all kinds of discomforts. My desire is to try to better understand the complexity of the human mind, live life and enjoy it as much as possible.
Q:
How does a psychologist help you?
A:
A psychologist can help you learn to manage certain emotions, thoughts and behaviors and also problems that often overwhelm you and you cannot solve by yourself.
Sometimes emotions prevent us from thinking clearly, block us, make us feel confused, feel that we lose our compass. A psychologist can help us find the way and look for explanations to what is happening to us.
With a psychologist we can talk about our worries, become owners of our feelings, it relieves us and allows us to make better decisions.
Going to a psychologist is a way to take care of ourselves and dedicate attention to ourselves, it is like going to a spa or getting a massage, it is a message that we send ourselves through which we tell ourselves that we care about us and that we are important. In the consultation you will have time just for you, to talk about your worries, problems, dreams and goals.
Q:
Who do we serve?
A:
Children
We use different techniques such as play therapy, drawings, puppets and plasticine to help children reduce their discomfort.
Adolescents
We seek to support them to live this stage in a better way and also to orient parents and family members of adolescents and future adolescents.
Couples therapy
We seek to provide couples with tools to improve their relationship and solve conflicts or situations that arise.
Work Difficulties
We want to help people with their particular work situation to find what they like to do and enjoy it.
Maternity, paternity and fertility
Planning a family can give rise to some difficulties on a psychological level that can be reflected on a physical level in fertility.
Online therapy
There are many reasons why online therapy is becoming more and more frequent: traffic, lack of time, convenience, anonymity, among others.
